First Review

Characters:

Adelia is a girl that everyone can fall in love with. Her heart is pure despite all she has gone through. From losing everything she has ever known, and having to move to America from her home in Ireland. But she is strong willed, with a spitfire tongue, witch has gotten her in trouble from time to time.

Uncle Paddy is loving, caring, and affectionate. He is like a father to not only Adelia now that she has moved to live with him in America but also to Travis Grant the owner of Royal Meadows, where Paddy has lived and worked for about years.

Travis Grant is the wealthy owner of a horse farm in Maryland called Royal Meadows. To describe him physically I would use the all to common; tall, dark and handsome, with very blue eyes. There is a lot more to him than his looks though. He is a strong man, who is liked and respected among his peers and associates. He was described by Paddy as a good man.

Majesty is a Thoroughbred racing horse, with a great spirit and a stubborn side. Majesty becomes Adelia's work and pleasure.

Wow! If I could write one book as good as Nora Roberts' first book I would be thrilled!

The Characters alone would be enough to peak interest but what really captured me was the need to get to know Adelia more and see where life was gonna take her. Having to move from Ireland to a horse farm in Maryland with her only living family, an uncle who she hasn't seen in 20 years. A number of ups and downs along the way kept me reading to find out what direction things would go for Adelia, her uncle Paddy and for Travis Grant.

I think this book was well written and from the imagination or the heart, it excited and softened mine. I would recommend this book to anyone who has a love for horses or a love for love and the struggles it takes to get to the true heart of it all.
